Sometimes, no matter how carefully you plan, life throws you a curveball. And on the day he was going to propose, that curveball came in the form of rain. The original plan was outdoors—somewhere quiet, scenic, and sentimental. But as the skies opened and the weather turned, so did the mood. There was frustration, stress, and that sinking feeling of “this isn’t how I imagined it.” But in the middle of it all, there was also prayer. A quick one. A desperate one. “God, please help this come together.”
And He did.
With candles, soft lighting, a few florals—and just like that, the space was transformed. The rain continued to fall outside, but inside, something even more powerful was happening. She walked in, surprised and slightly soaked, and stopped in her tracks. The look on her face said it all: she had no idea, and yet somehow… she knew.
