Tony and Renee’s story started on the volleyball court. Tony, ever the confident coach, made his first impression with a direct and no-nonsense approach. Renee, quick on her feet and sharp in spirit, took it all in stride, proving early on that she could match his energy. What began as playful exchanges soon grew into something deeper, as their shared values and faith became the foundation of a relationship rooted in purpose and intentionality.
Before the vows were exchanged and the dance floor filled, the day began with something deeply meaningful: a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Dressed in intricate red garments, the bride and groom knelt before their elders, offering tea as a sign of gratitude, respect, and unity. In return, they received words of blessing — and sometimes a few red envelopes too! After the tea ceremony, the couple changed into their modern wedding attire, blending the old and the new seamlessly. From there, the celebration continued — filled with joy, heartfelt speeches, and the kind of love that lights up a room.
